T

he 10th anniversary of Key to the Cure, Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation’s partnership with Saks Fifth Avenue, brought together all of the co-chairs from the past 10 years — Veronica Brady, Aimee Cogan, Ariane Dart, Susan Jones, Alex Miller, Allison Schwartz and Kyla Weiner. More than 900 attendees in pink kicked off the season Thursday, Oct. 15, at Saks Fifth Avenue Sarasota. Guests enjoyed food and drinks from Michael’s On East, tropical coconut macaroon towers by the SMH food and nutrition department, a prize drawing and entertainment galore, including dancers from the Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe in glass vitrines, singer Christopher Eisenburg in Sophie’s VIP sponsor area, a DJ with a strolling acoustic violinist and percussionist, as well as a saxophonist. Proceeds from the event benefit women’s cancer programs at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
