Variable Trolling Control

This helpful feature, standard on most EFI models, offers precise control of low-speed engine rpm for relaxed trolling. Adjustment is made in steps of 50 rpm, using a button on the tachometer.

Thrust Enhancing Reverse Exhaust (TERE)

Stronger reverse and low-speed manoeuvring

– TERE keeps exhaust bubbles above the antiventilation plate and out of the propeller below 2500 rpm when in reverse. The prop bites only bubble free water, resulting in outstanding reverse thrust and control.

Fresh Water Flushing System

No need to run the engine, simply connect a hose to the front-mounted connector to flush salt and dirt from the waterways. Reduced corrosion and extended engine life are the rewards. Available on outboards 8hp and up.

Wireless Helm Master® EX Controller

The latest Helm Master® EX system allows for the fitting of either a remote Helm Master® EX joystick or a wireless controller. Single-handed operation is possible thanks to the fingertip button on the wireless controller, giving captains the advantage of maintaining full boat control while also freeing up one hand for tossing lines or adjusting fenders. The wireless controller is also buoyant, making it easy to retrieve should it fall overboard.

Man Overboard (MOB) system

A passenger or captain falling overboard will trigger the boat to decelerate to a stop in idle or immediately turn off the engines. The system includes one captain and one passenger fob and will support up to eight MOB fobs all equipped with a wristband, lanyard or attachment point to help keep track of the entire crew onboard.

Electronic key switches

Helm Master® EX has been refined to the smallest details, including electronic key switches and a floating keyless fob that grant automatic recognition and that operate the system in a “smart” and easy way. The back-lit switch panels offer a slim, space-saving, push-button design and modern look.
