How Tiered Pricing Works

At the Y, we believe every child should experience camp. Our tiered pricing lets families choose the camp fee that best fits their budget—no application required. Your choice is confidential and does not affect your camper’s experience. The program, cabins, activities, and staffing are the same for every camper.

THE TIERS

Tier A (True Cost): Reflects the full, actual cost of camp. We kindly ask that you pay this amount IF your family has the ability to do so.

Tier B (Partially Subsidized): A reduced rate made possible by donations and the Y’s annual fund.

Tier C (Most Subsidized): Our lowest listed rate, supported by community giving to keep camp accessible. Additional financial assistance may be available if needed.

One-week and two-week sessions offered June 7-July 31.

Camp Is For Everyone

We believe that no child should miss out on the joy, connection, and growth that overnight camp provides—regardless of their family’s financial situation. That’s why we offer

CAMP IMPROVEMENTS

Construction will begin this spring on the only Watch Tower at a YMCA camp in the U.S. This 40 foot, 360-degree scenic overlook will be a new focal point for adventure and reflection. It includes a giant swing and will give campers a unique place to connect with nature and build confidence.

The Health Center, one of our original buildings dating back to the 1930s, underwent a complete renovation including a new restroom with shower and sink, two private bedrooms for nursing staff, and dedicated laundry facilities. These improvements ensure the health center meets today’s standards for safety, comfort, and care while honoring its historic footprint. The space will also receive custom art from a noted Piomingo Alumnus, Barb Hawley.

We’ve also:

• Repainted the pool slide and added new umbrellas and awnings!

• Added new full-court basketball court!

• Installed three water-fill stations!

We’re also delighted to introduce two new programs to our camper growth and development:

• Connected to the barn, Pioneer Village will be a frontier heritage experience where campers will learn settler-era crafts.

• We’ll also host a new Media Clinic where campers can learn about print, photography, and digital audio. They will even publish a camp newsletter and record a podcast!

FAMILY CAMP

Family Camp

YMCA Camp Piomingo invites families to enjoy a weekend of adventure, connection, and relaxation in the great outdoors. Held seasonally, our Weekend Family Camps are a chance to step away from daily routines and reconnect through shared experiences.

You’ll stay in our rustic cabins, participate in classic camp activities, and enjoy meals together in our dining hall. Families can explore at their own pace or join structured programs—it’s your weekend, your way.
