She regularly teaches Hydro Conditioning, attends SilverSneakers, and attends FOREVERWELL® events like book club and potluck. One of Maureen's favorite things is being in the water, where she can community of supportive and fun-loving members. When there were openings in the pool class schedule Maureen has stepped up to instruct. With a background in teaching yoga, Maureen incorporates mind body into aquatics. Maureen was encouraged by a friend to pursue a teaching certificate. After getting her certificate, Maureen has helped offer even more classes to our members in the small pool. She loves sharing her passion for water with others. Outside of the YMCA, Maureen is an avid reader. She enjoys volunteering in her community and is passionate about researching historical events and people. Thanks to the YMCA, she can enjoy spending time in the water while pursuing her interests. Plus, we've added three exciting new clubs for everyone to explore. With all the different clubs and events, you're sure to discover a new hobby, meet fantastic new friends, & have a great time!
