Page 1

Why Like That? AdMC has been designed to combine elements of gotong royong kampung spirit with modern architecture. Read on to find out more!

Kampung with a View Both blocks of residential apartments can be seen from the large window, just like how people in kampungs opened their doors to their neighbours. Large Window The window maximises natural light, reducing electricity usage. It also meets Green Mark specifications to reduce heat intake and save energy. Courtyard Garden The central garden is designed like a communal square of traditional kampungs, with a calming view that promotes wellness and healing. Retro Furniture & Fittings Many of our patients lived and grew up in the 1950s and 60s. The look and feel of the Mid-Century Modern Design furniture brings back fond memories. Mirror Mirror on the Wall The mirrors also reflect light and greenery from the central courtyard, bringing the garden into the medical centre. Stairway to Health Our health-promoting design nudges people in the reception area to take the staircase in their line-of-sight instead of the lifts behind them.
