The Eagle Note from the Editors

Happy New Year to you all! We hope you had an enjoyable and relaxing time over Christmas and New Year. Hopefully all those of you who suffered with the “Yarnscombe Cold” have fully recovered. A special “Welcome” to Yvonne, Rob, Kirsty and Emma who moved into Rose Cottage from Leicestershire just before Christmas. We all hope you’ll be very happy in Yarnscombe. So, what will be in store for us all in 2017? Do you have any special plans? Writing an article for The Eagle maybe?! Everyone in the parish is welcome to submit something for our neighbours to read and enjoy. Please send an email to yarnscombe.eagle@gmail.com or drop it into Heather Bank or The Briars. The February edition of The Eagle means it’s donation collection time and you’ll find a small brown envelope attached to the front of this issue.
