What is LIFT ? LIFT is a group of local organizations in Yamhill County. They work together to help families when they need extra support. LIFT helps families with children under age 18. It also helps families working to reunite. The goal of LIFT is to help families stay safe, healthy, and strong. Why LIFT Helps Life can change quickly. Problems like car repairs, surprise bills, or fewer work hours can cause stress. LIFT helps pay for one-time emergency needs. This support can help families stay on track and avoid bigger problems.
Community-Led Support People who live and work in the community know local needs best. The LIFT team includes people from: Schools Community groups Social service agencies Local government Faith groups Community leaders The team meets once a month to talk about family needs and find solutions.

How to Request Help from LIFT Community partners can ask for help by filling out the LIFT Application Request Form online. A new form is made each year The LIFT Specialist sends the request to the team

Youth in Yamhill County Provide a safe, temporary place for local youth ages 11-17 Experincing homelessness, family conflict, or crisis situations.
WHY HOST?
WHAT YOU’LL DO
By becoming a Host Home, you can provide stability, safety, and support during a critical time in a young person’s life. Youth stay in Host Homes for up to 21 days while our professional case managers work to identify safe, long-term housing solutions. You won’t be doing this alone. Our team provides guidance, resources, and ongoing support throughout each placement.

NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS IN YAMHILL COUNTY TheYamhill Food Project is a simple wayfor neighbors to collect food for local food pantries six times each year. It’s also a way to build community! How it Works Volunteers, called Neighborhood Coordinators, invite neighbors, friends, or family to become food donors. Over two months, food donors fill a reusable bag with nonperishable foods Every other month, Neighborhood Coordinators collect the filled bags from their food donors and deliver them to the collection site. Being a Neighborhood Coordinator is simple, flexible, and takes just a few hours every other month!

PETASSISTANCE Our Mission The missionof the HBPA program is to keep pets with their families and reduce shelter intake through community-based support and intervention strategies.
Community Partnerships Pets face a heightened risk of surrender when pet owners experience a temporary crisis or ongoing financial, medical, or housing-related challenges. By partnering with local social service organizations, we can improve the well-being of pets and people by addressing the root causes of pet relinquishment and providing comprehensive support to community members in need.
