welcome In February, we celebrate Black History Month, Lunar New Year, and St. Valentine's Day. This is a time to remember the remarkable contributions of African Americans who came before us, especially those who dedicated and gave their lives to ensure and secure civil rights for all people. It is the Year of the Tiger. Tigers are fiery fi ghters; they symbolize courage and fearlessness. Valentine's Day gives us an opportunity to celebrate love and affection with those who are dear to us. We also remember all of the people in Haiti and their families around the world. This month's newsletter theme is relationship and being in relationship. It is a good time to look at all the relationships in our lives, our relationship with people and with things.
