welcome In May we observed International Workers' Day, National Mental Health month and Mother's Day. We also sent a birthday blessing for El Hajj Malik El-Shabazz aka Malcolm X who would have been 85 years old on May 19th, and who, through Islam, found his way to valuing and embracing all members of the Human Family. Our new "From the Field" section features a powerful examination of the "means" that are "necessary." Now, more than ever and especially in light of the misguided choices made in Arizona legislation, it is important to remember the ways in which we are connected and interconnected.
