Project Overview
A 5.8-hectare science and research campus comprising eight office buildings. Appointed directly by the client as landscape consultant, delivering services from concept design through to construction completion. The landscape establishes a coherent campus identity, integrating circulation, courtyard spaces and waterside environments into a unified spatial framework.

Design Responsibilities:
• Concept evolution into detailed, buildable landscape packages.
• Coordinated with client, project manager, architect and contractor.
• Regular design meetings and materials translation.
• Oversaw material specification, paving palette and planting strategy.
• Managed remote site inspections and prepared snagging reports.
• Supervised junior designers and reviewed drawing outputs.
• Contract administration including payment certification.

RESIDENTIAL - CROWTHORNE BUCKLER'S FOREST & BUCKLER'S PARK PIONEER PLAY
A 1,000-home residential development
set within woodland and heathland context, including community hub, school, care facilities, SANG and multiple neighbourhood play spaces.
Pioneer Play (3,500sqm) forms the central civic landscape and gateway to the wider SANG network, reinforcing woodland character while establishing a strong community focal space.

Buckler's Park Pioneer Play
Consideration of the various different types of play for various age groups of children, also allow for inter-visibility between some areas where younger children may benefit from watching older children.

HEADQUARTER - BICESTER MOTION INNOVATION QUARTER
Part of wider Bicester Motion (formerly RAF Bicester) regeneration project, this 24.9-acre site forms the Innovation Quarter - a new business and technology hub set withiin a historic airfield context.
Our role:
External landscape design for phase 1 and contributed to create a world leading technology cluster in the heart of Bicester.

Design Responsibilities:
• Developed landscape masterplan, including courtyard studies, parking layout and SuDS integration.
• Led tree and planting strategy.
• Contributed to Bidoversity Net Gain (BNG) calculations.
• Represented the landscape team in weekly multidisciplinary design meeting from concept to schematic stage.
