Last Weeks Events

The 26th Annual Oyster Roast had over 400 attendees! With a surprise performance by Brother Lucy it was a night to be remembered. Thank you to all who attended and especially to our sponsors. A big thank you to all of the staff who made this event a success. Also to Mrs. Carol Burke for making sure we knew exactly what to do and helping the whole time!

MEMBER FEATURE THE DANGERFIELDS

MEMBER SINCE 2010 The Dangerfields joined the club in 2010 to put two of their boys on the swim team. Danny is now our current Commodore. Danny and Jennifer have been self employed for 30 years at Danny’s company SanAir. Jennifer has also been a CNA and The Patient Liasion for 10 years at Riverside Regional Emergency Room. The couple have three boys, Landon, Hunter, and Travis. Landon and Travis work for the family business while Hunter has taken to working in the yachting industry. The Dangerfields enjoy traveling, good food...particularly when shared with good friends and entertaining.

Reminder! The club is closed Sundays and Mondays.

Trying to spend that monthly minimum? Did you know you can purchase bottled wine from The Dining Room to meet your $40 minimum? Come in to check out our bottled wine selection or call ahead and we will have it ready for you!

Attention members: If you use the new patio umbrellas please make sure to put them down so they stay in good condition. Lately they have been left up and are becoming damaged Please refrain from bringing plates and glasses from The Dining Room to the new patio. This is to ensure the safety of all members including the small ones with bare feet. Also we ask if club furniture is moved that you move it back to it's original placement. There isn't always someone around that can move it back. This includes the new patio furniture.

Behind the scenes

STAFF FEATURE Ashley has been a resident of Newport News her whole life and graduated from Menchville High School. Recently married in September she’s the mom of a two year old named Lily and a step mom of 3. In her spare time she hangs out with her family. An outdoorsy girl she loves to go camping and spend time around a fire.

Attn Boaters, Please help us keep the marina and waters clean and free of fuel, oil and chemicals. I will let you know the locations when they are in.
