onths of passionate fundraising and advocacy came to an end on the weekend as four young women of the Burdekin represented their organisations at the Home Hill Harvest Festival Rotary Ball, Grand Parade and Street Party. On Friday night’s Rotary Ball, Dayna Linton was
crowned Charity Queen representing Burdekin Netball Association and Allie-Jo, representing Home Hill - Ayr Lion’s Club, was crowned Personality Queen. “A big thank you to the Harvest Festival committee,” Dayna said on the night.
“Going to the meetings and seeing how much work goes into the Harvest Festival has been a really big eyeopener.” “We couldn’t do it without everyone supporting Home Hill Harvest Festival,” added Allie-Jo. See the photos on pages 26-29
