much-loved kindergarten educator is retiring after an almost 30-year career with Ayr Community Kindergarten. Sandra Maynard has nurtured countless Burdekin children since the

MANGOES STRIPPED FROM THEIR TREES ON HOME HILL FARM Thousands of dollars’ worth of mangoes have reportedly been stolen from a property leased by Gudjuda Reference Group Aboriginal Corporation.
Ranger Eddie Smallwood said the sale of the mangoes was going to fund expenses on the farm. “It’s just a kick in the guts because we
