Sip & Paint Ladies Event our first sip & paint event was hosted on Thursday evening 24 October 2024 at Clay Café Groot Parys in Paarl The ladies had a blast letting their inner artists out and enjoyed a relaxing evening with friends.
HAM’s Christmas Shoe Box Project 2024 was once again a great success thanks to our dedicated community. It provided a lot of joy and smiles to all the children who received their needed winter clothes

We had the privilege to host Global Exploration's volunteers from the Netherlands again this year, with 2 tour groups (21 students and 17 school learners) who visited us from 14 to 19 July and from 21 to 26 July 2024. They helped us in the mornings with our garden project, netball court and in the afternoons, they spent some time with our 155 children.
We are deeply grateful to our incredible donors who make our work possible. Their unwavering support helps us continue our mission and drive positive change in our community In this section, we celebrate their generosity and share the impact they’ve had through their contributions.

A weekly crate of fresh, organic vegetables goes a long way in helping to feed the 155 children in the care of Huis Andrew Murray (HAM). Thanks to generous donations from Val de Vie Estate residents, HAM will receive 72 weekly crates of organic produce from the Val de Vie Wellness Farm, helping to provide delicious and nutritious meals Thank you to the residents for your kind generosity towards this initiative.

Some significant upgrades have been made at HAM, thanks to the generosity of our donors. The kitchens and showers at Huis Hakea were fully renovated, as well as the kitchens of Huis Erica and Huis Freesia providing a safer and more comfortable environment for the children In addition, electric fencing was installed to enhance security, ensuring a safer space for everyone. Upgraded signage also improves navigation around the facility, making it more accessible These improvements have made a lasting impact, and we are deeply grateful for the support that helped make them possible

Huis Andrew Murray received a new Mercedes Inkanyezi sprinter, a vital resource for transporting our 155 children to various schools in Paarl and Wellington This will ensure our children receive the education and opportunities they deserve.
We have faced challenges in ensuring reliable transportation for some time now This new bus represents not just a mode of transport, but the ultimate commitment to our children's education and wellbeing. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our donors who made this dream a reality.
Our staff year-end function was a fantastic celebration held at the scenic Paarlberg picnic spot. We enjoyed a relaxed and festive atmosphere, complete with a delicious braai. The highlight of the day was the Best Dressed for Christmas competition, where colleagues showed off their creative holiday outfits, bringing extra cheer to the occasion. It was a wonderful way to wrap up the year, with great food, laughter, and plenty of holiday spirit shared among the team.

Ons was bevoorreg om twee finalejaar Arbeidsterapie-studente aan die Universiteit van Stellenbosch te verwelkom. Graeme Cherry and Lian Botha het ' n Gemeenskapsinteraksie Kliniese Blok voltooi by HAM

Giving is better than receiving It is always a big adventure for our Sprokiesland toddlers to bring cheer to our donors, with the songs they practice throughout the year
We visited a few donors at the end of November to thank them for their continuous support

We were able to create unforgettable experiences for these 6 young adults as they celebrated this significant milestone in their lives, thanks to the donors, churches and community. The joy and excitement we witnessed during the events were truly heart-warming
These moments are not just about celebration; they symbolize hope, achievement, and the bright futures that lie ahead for our learners. Your kindness has played a vital role in nurturing their self-esteem and confidence, reminding them that they are valued and supported
HAM se Kersfees erkenningsoggend en kersspel was Saterdagoggend 30 November. Die kinders het erkenning gekry vir hulle verskeie prestasie deur die jaar en die kleuters van sprokiesland het hulle gunsteling liedjies opgetree
