Meet our amazing team of Child and Youth Care Workers, led by Charmaine Viviers
In May we honoured and celebrated the 19 dedicated Child and Youth Care Workers of HAM Children's Home, who makes a meaningful impact and difference in our 155 children's lives
We have 12 houses at HAM and our dedicated CYCC’s are responsible for the daily care of 12 boys or girls between the ages of 1 - 18 years old in each house.
They are the mother and father figures in our children’s lives. They love and support each child like their own and take care of their daily physical and emotional needs. They celebrate all their highs and guide them during the lows The impact they have on the world and the next generation is unmeasurable, that is why we treasure their dedication to our children

ONS KWARTAAL FUNKSIES IN 2025
Rhodes Quality Half Marathon het op Donderdag 1 Mei 2025 plaas gevind by Hugenote Hoërskool in Wellington. HAM was die begunstigde en is trots om betrokke te wees by so ‘ n besonderse byeenkoms.
Winter Skoenboks Projek was ‘ n groot sukses Op Vrydag, 20 Junie 2025 het elke kind by HAM ‘ n skoenboks ontvang wat basiese winter behoeftes bevat. Die kinders is ook bederf met lekker pizza en Pepsi na die tyd.
HAM Celebrates the Launch of their new HAM-FI THEATER
On Friday, 20 June 2025, Huis Andrew Murray CYCC officially launched their amphitheatre, now known as the HAM-fi Theatre.
The vision for this space was first envisioned in 2020 A safe space with enough seats and green grass, where the children of HAM could freely play, run, enjoy sport and performances Through the dedication of the HAM team and support of generous donors, the project was completed in seven phases over five years. HAM extends a heartfelt thanks to The Charl Munnik Foundation and Klapmuts Concrete, whose contributions made this project possible
Dr Andrew Murray’s 7 Annual Black Tie Dinner & Auction
On Saturday, 7 June 2025, Huis Andrew Murray CYCC hosted their 7th Annual Dr Andrew Murray Black Tie Dinner & Auction at the Franschhoek Cellar
Guests were welcomed to an enchanting masqueradethemed evening, enjoying captivating entertainment, a gourmet menu, and live music. The HAM mentorship and bursary fund was strengthened during the black-tie ner & auction

HAM se 2de Youth Unite Sportdag op Maandag, 16 Junie 2025 was ' n reuse sukses Die kinders en toeskouers het dit baie geniet. Versekeie skole (St Albans, Hillcrest & Ambassadors of Christ) en kinderhuise (Durbanville Children's Home & Steinthal Kinderhuis) het deelgeneem. Die kinders het dit geniet om teen mekaar mee te ding in rugby en netbal.

MATRIC BALL
On Thursday 26 June 2025 one of our matric learners had his matric ball and celebrated a significant milestone in his life
With the help of Every Nation Wellington and the community we were able to create unforgettable experience for him These moments are not just about celebration; they symbolize hope, achievement, and the bright futures that lie ahead for our learners.
We are looking forward to two more matric balls at the end of the year If you want to contribute, please let us know.

Die kleinste inwoners van HAM (1-4 jariges) het twee bejaardesorg huise bederf met ; ’ n besoek in Paarl en Wellington die afgelope kwartaal.

HAM se kinders was uit die veld geslaan oor al die omgee en liefde wat hulle ontvang het hierdie paasfees Hulle is bederf met baie paaseiers en ' n spitbraai, en heerlike tuisgemaakte "hot cross buns" en kerrievis.
PERSONEEL WELSTAND:

HAM personeel het ' n kleurvolle piekniek geniet by Salem Biblical Gardens ter afsluiting van Kinder- en Jeugsorgwerkwer maand en die personeel welstand program.
