My itinerary offered insights into some stunning areas of the UK Here are just a few of my port highlights: CROMARTY FIRTH Here we took a shore excursion to Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle. KIRKWALL We explored the Rings of Brodgar and the quaint town of Stromness, followed by a trip to the Mull Head Nature Reserve for bird watching. FAIR ISLE I enjoyed kayaking here while spotting puffins, guillemots and seals in the skies and sea. We also took a Zodiac excursion to a nearby cliff to watch the puffins swooping above. MOUSA & THE ISLE OF NOSS AND LERWICK Here we took trips to the ancient Broch, explored the nature reserves and met local Shetland ponies.
