A story that is very relevant to many Wainuiomata people is coming to The Wainuiomata Marae this month. The major new play, ‘Waenga’, also has strong Wainuiomata input as it is directed by local resident Jim Moriarty. ‘Waenga’ will be performed at the Wainuiomata Marae on 18 July, starting at 6:30pm.
