Wainuiomata people have the opportunity to find out more about the amazing service the Wainuiomata Volunteer Fire Brigade does during the brigade’s Open Day on Saturday 8 March. The brigade’s fire fighters are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and work for no pay. They save lives, they save property and they help people in distress. Continued on page 2.
