Newlands Mum, Nicola Swan, and her son’s legacy the Swan Nest will be one step closer to their goal after this weekend thanks to some like-minded cricketers and 24 hours of

effort. From 10am Saturday at Ngati Toa Domain and the Mana Indoor Nets, the Taniwha cricket team will hit 5000 deliveries non-stop for 24 hours to raise $5000 for the Swan Nest Trust. Continued on page 2.

The Taniwha cricket team will collectively pad-up in the nets this weekend for 24 hours on Saturday and face 5000 deliveries in an effort to raise $5000 for The Swan Nest.
