The first plants in the Ngahere Korowai (tiny forest) at the Wainuiomata Marae went into the ground last Wednesday, 17 June. The initial planting ceremony began with a Mihi Whakatau (a less formal M ori welcome) led by Rawinia Tiari Olsen Kingi. Continued on page 2.
