Wellington City Council officers dropped a bombshell on the Councillors and the community
when they recommended that the hugely popular Khandallah Swimming Pool be closed. The officers are asking today’s meeting of the Council’s Long Term Plan, Finance and Performance
Committee to “agree to close the Khandallah Pool facility and landscape the site, at an estimated cost of $4.5 million.” Continued on page 2.
