Saving Wellington’s iconic Begonia House is the aim of two current initiatives – a fundraising campaign and a petition. The Friends of the Wellington Botanic Garden, together with the Norwood family, have set up a “fighting fund” as part of a campaign to reverse Wellington City Council’s decision to demolish the Begonia House, which is located at the Lady Norwood Rose Garden.
