SIGHT UNSEEN PURCHASE PROGRAM We know that as producers, you are busy and might not be able to attend the sale or tour the bull pen. We offer a sight unseen purchase program. We know our program inside and out. Our females and herdsires are proven and predictable. Give us a call with the qualities you are looking for in the bull(s) to suit your operation (birthweight, size, colour, etc.) and any questions you may have, and we will help you select the bull(s) that meets your requirements. Satisfaction guaranteed or we refund your money with no hassle!
GUARANTEE All bulls sold are guaranteed to pass a semen test and are guaranteed breeders. TERMS OF SALE Yearlings Yearling bulls will be wintered on farm until needed in the spring of 2023. They will be semen tested and delivered free of charge. Bulls that are wintered on farm must be insured for mortality. Mortality insurance cost is 8% of purchase price and will be available for purchase on sale day. Two-Year Olds All coming two-year old bulls have been semen tested. •Bring your trailer sale day, haul your bull home and we will deduct $200. OR Choose from one of these two options: 1. We will deliver your bull as soon as convenient for you after the sale 2. We will feed him for the winter and deliver him when you need him for $800 payable on sale day. Bulls on this option must be insured for mortality. Mortality insurance available for purchase on sale day at a cost of 12% of purchase price. After years of following fads and show winners, we were not happy with the results and came to the conclusion that we should raise Charolais bulls that work for the Rancher.... calve unassisted, industry leading weaning and yearling weights, with breed leading EPD’s for Ribeye and Marbling, that are highly sought after by feedlots. We have worked hard to get here and have found the genetics that produce curve bending Herd Bulls that have proven to do so for our customers. Those are the bulls that we offer you, the progressive Rancher, to maximize your cow herd. We stand behind our bulls, look after our customers with details, and help market a high percentage of our customers’ calves to top feedlots across Canada. e would like to welcome you all to our first sale as Brayshar Charolais. After working with Steve at Char-Maine Ranching, we decided to buy our own place and take the cows we have acquired over the years and start our own life and Charolais herd. At Brayshar, we pride ourselves firstly on our females. They are strictly culled for temperament, feet, and we have no time or reason to put up with helping a calf suck, especially because of a bad udder. Our bulls are raised right alongside our family. Sharaya and the girls do the majority of the chores while Brad is at work. The bulls are very familiar with kids because they also have to help grain the bulls. We don’t believe in having our bulls over conditioned. In the spring when we deliver your bulls, they will be in good working shape and ready to do their job efficiently. The sale price includes us keeping your bull or bulls until you need them in the spring and delivering them when its convenient for both parties. The right of the property shall not pass until settlement is paid in full. All settlements must be made with the clerks of the sale before any cattle will be released. Current exchange rates will be announced on sale day. DISPUTES: In case of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision in such matters will be final. PURCHASER’S RISK: Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Animals will be cared for at the purchaser’s risk for a reasonable length of time. ANNOUNCEMENTS: All announcements made from the auction block sale day will take precedence over the printed material. Errors discovered in the catalogue will be corrected from the auction stand at sale time and such correction will take precedence over printed material in the catalogue. ACCIDENTS: Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, SOUTHERN ALBERTA LIVESTOCK EXCHANGE assumes no responsibility in the matter and disclaims any liability, legal or otherwise, in the event of an accident or loss of property.

IN-HERD SEMEN: Char-Maine Ranching Ltd., Brayshar Charolais & Chiefview Cattle Salers reserves the right to collect semen on any bull sold through the sale. Semen collection will be at seller’s expense and the buyer’s convenience.
