YOUR TOWN JOIN THE CITIZENS POLICE ACADEMY Residents are invited to apply for the Winter Garden Police Department’s next Citizens Police Academy. This free, nine-week course takes place Wednesday evenings from Aug. 2 to Sept. 27. The classes are instructed by Winter Garden officers. Participants must be 18 or older and live or work in the city of Winter Garden. Applications are available at wgpd.com; the deadline is July 21.
