Four years ago, we walked through these doors together, uncertain, hopeful and ready to start our high school journey. Today, as I write this final message to you as your principal, do so with immense pride and gratitude.
You proved that potential has no boundaries. In the halls of 6500 Turkey Lake, seniors are already airplane pilots, drone pilots and have earned associate in arts degrees. Walking among you are state champions, super scholars, software designers and enlisted soldiers. Panther seniors are media producers, mechanics, business owners and NASA finalists for a Mission to Mars. The No. 1 Air Force ROTC cadet in the world graduates with you. All of this, and you haven’t finished high school yet. You are the dreamers and doers. You didn’t wait for an opportunity to be successful; on our campus, you created it. More than titles or accomplishments, you are the class that questioned the status quo. You are curious, confident and coura-

geous. You learned that excellence is forged through effort, ChatGPT and staying the course. You challenged yourselves, supported one another and raised the bar for what it means to be a student here at Dr. Phillips High School. You showed us what you are made of.
As you step forward into what’s next, remember this: the world doesn’t need you to be like everyone else, it needs YOU to BE YOU. Lead with integrity. Serve with purpose. Keep learning. Keep building. Keep showing the world that “You are Never Less than the Best.”
It has been an honor to grow alongside you. Congratulations, Seniors. Your story is just beginning.
— JACKIE RAMSEY

MESSAGE FROM A TEACHER
As you embark upon the next phases of your academic and social journeys, your transition is bittersweet for all of us. We are happy — truly happy — to see you step into new adventures, to chase dreams beyond these halls. But we are also sad, because you are leaving a place that has been your home, and a Pride that has been your family. Please remember: This will always be your home. You are always welcome here — yes, even for those surprise visits we secretly hope for. Just remember to stop by the front office for your Panther Pride Pass!
Before you leave us, the entire faculty and staff in the Pride asked me to share what we believe is one of the most important
life lessons you can carry with you. There will be moments ahead when things don’t go as planned, but remember this: “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.” And in those moments, don’t be afraid of getting it wrong, because as Brené Brown reminds us, “There is no innovation and creativity without failure.” Every setback, every misstep, is not the end — it’s a beginning. So take the risk. Keep going. Raise your hand when you are unsure. Try things that scare you. And trust that even your failures are shaping you into who you are meant to become. Remember this: You are Never Less than the Best. Not because you are perfect, but because you are capable, resilient and becoming.
Your only Bahamian, 25-26 Teacher of the Year, Ms. Eneas

MESSAGE FROM A TEACHER
My dearest seniors of 2026: As you step into this new season, stay hungry. Use every opportunity you get, and stay prepared. The world is vast, but it is also waiting for the specific perspective only you can bring. Whatever you decide to pursue, remember you are the only one standing in your way. Your doubts are the only barriers that truly have the power to stop you.
— Your ever-supporting teacher, Mrs. Keren Dwyer

“

To the Graduating Class of 2026:
As you prepare to walk across the stage at the Addition Financial Arena, I find myself reflecting on the unique journey that brought us all here. While I officially became the principal of Horizon High School on Dec. 1, 2025, my connection to this cohort runs far deeper than these past few months.
To many of you, this isn’t just a high school graduation.
It is the culmination of a fiveyear story we started together.
I remember many of you as the very first eighth-grade Wildcats when we opened our doors five years ago.
We opened two brand-new schools on this very campus, and you were the pioneers who set the tone for everything that followed.

n Moving from different countries to make a home here;
n Being rezoned (sometimes multiple times) between different schools;
n Opening two new campuses simultaneously; and
n Leading with grace and spirit — even in the face of a global pandemic.
Our Hawks did not just “get through” these challenges; you rose above them. Your ability to adapt to change has prepared you for whatever the world sets in your path. For many of you, I was so incredibly proud to be your principal in middle school. To see you now, as young adults ready to take on the world, makes me beyond honored to serve as your principal at Horizon High School. I cannot wait to see the incredible experiences you all will have and the impact you will undoubtedly make. Always remember the nest you came from, and know that you will always have a home here. Congratulations, Class of 2026!
As always, #GoHawks!
— DR. BRIAN K. SANCHEZ CORONA
Your path has been anything but traditional. You have demonstrated a level of flexibility, experience and resiliency that most adults strive for. Think of what you have navigated:

MESSAGE
FROM A TEACHER
I want you to know how proud I am of each and every one of you. Every challenge you faced, every late-night doing loads of homework, every question you weren’t afraid to ask, and every friend you helped through a tough time, each of you chose to keep trying, to keep pushing and to keep succeeding. Please remember that it mattered and, even more important, you matter. All of your experiences have shaped you into the strong, capable young adults you are today, and I am excited to see what the future brings you.

— Valerie Powell, SGA Adviser, AP Seminar, Beta Club and Key Club sponsor, head cheer coach Class

You are stepping into a year that matters — a year where growth, choices and purpose come together. You’ve already shown resilience, adaptability and heart, and now, it’s time to lean fully into who you are becoming. This year, challenge yourself to aim higher than what feels comfortable. Take pride in your effort, not just your results. Support one another, celebrate your differences, and remember that your voice and actions shape the culture of our school every single day. Mistakes will happen — and that’s OK. They are part of learning. What matters most is how you respond: with integrity, perseverance and the courage to keep moving forward. Believe in your potential. Trust the process. Finish strong. We are proud of you and excited to see all that you will accomplish. You’ve got this! — MARICARMEN APONTE

We can’t wait to see the bright futures you build!

Bebee, even before you entered this world on 9/16/2008, you were already a fighter. During my pregnancy, your father and I rushed to the emergency room more than nine times. On that last visit, my symptoms were so severe we were certain we’d lost you-until the nurse looked at us and said, “Look, your baby’s heart is strong.”
When the day finally came for your entrance, I remember seeing you for the first time and thinking you were absolutely perfect. But suddenly, that joy turned to fear. Complications arose, and the nurses told your father he had to leave with you immediately. As I watched him walk out the door carrying you, a strange peace washed over my sadness. I felt that my job was done; I knew I was leaving you, Bro Bro, and Sister in the hands of the greatest father ever.
A few long hours later, I woke up to his handsome face telling me everything would be okay. Moments after that, they rolled you into my room, and I finally got to hold you. You have been a warrior from the very beginning. Your drive for success and your thirst for learning shine brighter than the stars. You truly are the definition of proud, driven, and unstoppable. As this chapter closes, we know the next will be an incredible adventure full of new “firsts.”
We love you forever!
Mother (Sonya), Father (Sherwin), Bro Bro (Eli), Sister (Cynthia), David, Malakai, Elijah, Tabby (Nathaniel) & Little baby (Noah) - Lolo & Lola & Big Mommy & Big Daddy!

MESSAGE
FROM A TEACHER
First and foremost, give yourself a pat on the back. You did it. You crossed the finish line. You survived all of the tests, the late-night study sessions, the cafeteria food, the tardy sweeps and everything else that comes with being in high school.
As you stand on the edge of “what’s next,” there is a lot of pressure to go out and make a difference. We often talk about it like it’s a giant, cinematic moment — saving a city or inventing a world-changing technology. But here’s a little secret: Most of the “difference” made in the world happens in the quiet spaces. You don’t have to have a 10-year plan or a million-dollar idea to be an impactful human being. Making a difference is often less about the scale and more about the consistency. It’s in the way you listen to a friend who is having a rough day; it’s in the courage to speak up when you see something that isn’t right; it’s in the work you do when no one is watching or clapping for you. The world doesn’t just need more “successful” people in the traditional sense. It needs more peacemakers, healers, restorers and storytellers of all kinds. Go out there and be messy, be brave and be kind. If you focus on being the best version of yourself, the “making a difference” part tends to take care of itself. Congratulations, Class of 2026! We are so proud of each and every one of you.
— Amanda Newcomer, 2025-26 Windermere High Teacher of the Year

“ NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

As another school year draws to a close, it is important to take time to reflect on all the accomplishments we’ve achieved as a school and community. At Windermere, the phrase, “Achieving Greatness with Honor,” is more than just a tagline. It is a core belief in all that we do. From academics and athletics to fine arts and extracurricular activities, I’m so proud of all you’ve
accomplished both in and out of the classroom over the course of this school year.
The opportunities that lie before you are endless, but it will be up to each of you to passionately pursue your goals and dreams. Don’t be afraid to take chances and even fail.
Colin Powell once said: “There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work and learning from failure.” Whatever goal you have, I expect you to passionately work to reach it while doing so with honor.
To all my students: Thank you for making my years at Windermere ones that I will never forget. To my seniors, may the road rise to meet you, and may the wind always be at your back, and remember, once a Wolverine, always a Wolverine.

ACHIEVE YOUR POTENTIAL
At C2 Education, success starts with a plan-and a belief in every student’s potential.
Through personalized TUTORING, TEST PREP, and COLLEGE COUNSELING, C2 Education helps students build confidence, improve scores, and reach their academic goals.

From strengthening classroom skills to preparing for the SAT, ACT, and beyond, C2 empowers students to stand out and succeed on their path to college.
This year, 94% of C2 students who applied to a top 100 school were accepted. 49% of applications submitted by C2 students to Ivy League were accepted.”
Congratulations to this year’s graduates!
Your hard work, determination, and commitment to excellence have brought you to this moment-and it’s only the beginning.
As you take Your next step, remember - your future is built on the effort you invest today. Keep striving. Keep learning. Keep achieving.

LAYERS: You combined throwback vintage T-shirts with buttoned shirts to create comfortable outfits that showed off your personality.

FR FR THE THINGS YOU WORE … In the year 2026 …
LOW-RISE JEANS: As part of the TikTok-aided resurgence of Y2K style, you traded oversdized jeans for low-rise jeans that sat below the waist. These were much more flattering than the barrel jeans that filled your dresser during your junior year.

CHUNKY SNEAKERS: Again, taking a page from Y2K fashion, chunky sneakers made a comeback. And when you pulled these onto your feet, you instantly became a few inches taller.

PJ BOTTOMS: Seems the ever-popular pajama day from elementary school left an impression. On some days, you didn’t even have to get dressed in the morning. Actually, it was a pretty smart move. School starting at 7:20 a.m. was rough every day.
SNEAKERINAS: If you weren’t feeling the chunky sneakers, you might have gravitated to sneakerinas. You paired these with everything from casual wear to dresses.

THE TEAMS THAT WON …
2025 Stanley Cup Champion: Florida Panthers

When society looks back on 2026, we’ll remember this year as the one where AI was no longer a novelty. It was everywhere. It was at the top of every Google search and on our phones. And the things it could create were nearly indistinguishable from the real thing. It’s the biggest technological achievement since the Internet itself. And you became an adult during that time.
THE THINGS YOU SAID …
Aura farming (verb): The act of doing something to look cool, impressive, stylish, etc., especially — and importantly — without trying too hard. One can also “farm aura,” that is, do something to enhance one’s coolness.
Big back (adjective): This term refers to a person who is overweight or has a large, rounded or muscular upper body. It also is used to humorously describe someone with a large appetite, often accompanied by the phrase, “big back behavior,” to describe eating a lot of food.
Chopped (adjective): A derogatory term meaning unattractive, ugly or uncool. It originated from the viral “Chopped Chin” memes in late 2024 and implies someone is not goodlooking or socially acceptable, frequently used similarly to “scuffed” or “ugly.”

Clock it (verb): To notice, call out or expose a hidden truth, often accompanied by a thumb-and-middle-finger tap ping gesture.
Cooked (adjective): Used to describe someone who is extremely tired, burnt out or overwhelmed.
Fr (phrase): Stands for “for real” in texting and social media. It is used to express agreement, confirm sincerity or emphasize truthfulness.
Goated (adjective): Describing someone or something is considered the “Greatest of All Time” (G.O.A.T.) or simply the best, most amazing or top-tier.
Highkey (adverb): Being extremely, openly or intensely passionate about something. It is often used as an adverb for “really” or “obviously”. It is the direct opposite of lowkey.

thing subtle, moderate, quiet or restrained. It acts as an adverb meaning “kind of,” “somewhat,” or “secretly,” often used to downplay a feeling or desire. It is the opposite of highkey.
Mogging (verb): The act of looking far more attractive, physically imposing or stylish than someone else, thereby “outclassing” them.
Rage-bait (noun): Content (usually online) that intentionally tries to provoke anger or outrage, as a means of gaining attention or making money.

Curiously, you craved authenticity. Sure, AI helped you get homework assignments done in record time, and research became a breeze. But for all the brainrot and memes you consumed, you also opted for throwback T-shirts and library chic fashion. You traded lattes and mochas for matcha for a calmer, sustained energy boost. And you were keenly aware of how AI can lead to misinformation and a decline in critical thinking. You’re entering your adulthood at a critical time, but if your cautious optimism about AI is any indication, as in the famous lyrics written by The Who, “The kids are alright”!
Chud (noun): A generalized term of disparagement used somewhat synonymously with fool, troll and jerk, to suggest that someone (usually a man) is rude, boorish, regressive or unintelligent.
Locked in (adjective): To be intensely focused, fully committed or highly disciplined regarding a specific goal, task or relationship.
Six Seven (phrase): A nonsensical expression used especially by teens and tweens that is connected to the Skrilla rap song and also to a 6-foot-7 basketball player.
Slay (verb/adjective): To do something incredibly well, be impressive or look stunning. It implies owning a moment with confidence and style.

“KPOP
DEMON HUNTERS.” Released in June 2025, this Netflix-only film captivated audiences for the rest of 2025. It became the mostwatched original title in Netflix history, and its soundtrack had an unprecedented four songs in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.

What a joy and privilege it has been to watch the Class of 2026 grow into the young men and women they are today.
During their time at The First Academy, they have pursued excellence in the classroom, on the stage, on the field and in service to others — but more important, they have grown in wisdom, character and faith.

As they step into this next chapter, my prayer is that they will carry with them a steadfast commitment to truth, a courage rooted in Christ, and a desire to lead and serve wherever God calls them.

NOTE FROM THE HEADMASTER

Class of 2026: It has been a long year, but YOU MADE IT! Through all of the ups and downs and all that this year threw at you, you managed to hang on and finish well. Now that you have graduated, I pray that you will find your place in God’s Story. I want to remind you that you are “His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10). “Workmanship” comes from the Greek word poiema, which implies a poem or work of art. You were created by the God of the Universe for a purpose, and our prayer at CFCA is that you seek God and His purpose for you with your whole heart for the rest of your lives! — KRISTI LAVIOLETTE

Seniors, Innovators, Class of 2026, It has been an honor and a privilege to watch each of your grow and evolve. Your creativity, tenacity and collaborative spirits have been highlights. Thank you for your humor, joy and for sharing your brilliance with our community. Banana! — Alison Franks
“ NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Community, have to tell you about something amazing. The Class of 2026 from Innovation Montessori Ocoee is graduating, and honestly, couldn’t be more proud. These kids have done incredible things. They’ve earned their way through 13 years of a K-12 Montessori education that has taught them to think for themselves, to create, to dream big. They’ve excelled in the classroom, dominated on the field, performed on stages and given back to our community. They’re kind. They’re resilient. They’re the real deal.
But here’s the thing that really gets me: They did all of this while the world was literally falling apart around them. During their middleschool years, COVID-19 hit hard. School got turned upside-down. Nobody knew what would happen next.
And you know what? These students didn’t just survive it. They adapted, they pushed through, and they learned what it means to be tough when things are uncertain. That matters.

Class of 2026: As you head out into whatever comes next, want you to know something: This community is rooting for you. Yeah, the future might feel uncertain. That’s OK. You’ve already proven you can handle the tough stuff. You know how to think for yourselves. You know how to show up for other people. You know how to keep going when things get hard. That’s going to take you so far. So, go be awesome. Go to college or trade school, or start that business, or travel the world. Whatever you decide to do, chase it with everything you’ve got. Make mistakes, learn from them, and keep moving forward.
We believe in you. We’re excited to see what you do next. You’ve got this. Now, get out there and show everyone what you’re made of.
Proud of you, DR. JOHN PAGNOTTI
