A new issue of World Leather is now available. We have important articles about bio-based products, about roller-coating technology and about renewable energy. We also bring you an in-depth review of the 2025 edition of APLF and an insightful Leather Leaders conversation with the secretary-general of COTANCE, Gustavo González-Quijano. However, there is no getting away from the big story in this issue: we have tried to provide as much detail as possible on how tariffs and trade disputes might affect the global leather industry. We have two long-read articles about this, the first focusing on raw materials, the second on finished products. It is difficult to know exactly how things will go, but we hope to have painted part of the picture, at least, in an objective and informative way.
