Alumni Summit: Beyond Dialogue
This past Labor Day weekend, 150 alumni from 7 countries and 21 states across the United States convened in State College, Pennsylvania, for the WinC Alumni Summit, held in honor of the center’s twentieth anniversary. This “reunion with a purpose” marked the start of a new and meaningful way for alumni to engage with WinC as we move to the next frontier of our programming.

The Next Frontier
WinC has developed an innovative conflict facilitation method that enables people to think together with their opponents about contentious social problems and to build solutions together We have been growing our impact around the world Yet, we have our sights set on a greater purpose Our purpose is to expand the use of conflict facilitators in all settings, and across all continents This is our next frontier In order to make this happen, we need your help
Fund for the future of WinC
For the first time, we are working to establish an Endowment Fund. We have to raise $50,000 to do this! Eight months ago, a super-powered group of alumni formed the Alumni Development Committee (ADC) to work toward this goal. Their passion and support helped catalyze our partnership with Penn State’s Office of University Development. But we need your help, too. No donation is too small.
The world desperately needs conflict facilitators Everywhere.

We are excited to offer this unique training opportunity to our alumni!
Research Initiative: Alumni Interview Project
“It’s soul-filling to positively impact others ”
Meet one of our TNTs
This research study allowed us to have dynamic, in-depth conversations with more than one hundred WinC alumni about their learning experience with us—and its impact on their lives and careers. One thing we learned is that our alumni have a greater capacity for empathy than most! That’s cool, right? Read our impact report to learn more about the Alumni Interview Project and other exciting WinC projects.
