The adoption of digitally enabled supply chain infrastructure in health systems, supported by global standards, offers end-to-end traceability in the clinical patient care delivery pathway which improves patient safety, enhances operational efficiency and drives positive care outcomes. In the United Kingdom’s National Health Service, the application of global standards through the Scan4Safety program is starting to enable clinicians to focus more on patient care and is supporting clinicians to provide error-free care, every time.
