ROOKLYN, NY (May 17, 2023); Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso today proposed three legal opportunities for Governor Hochul, Mayor Adams, and the City Council to address the deep need for immediate shelter and long-term, affordable housing in and around New York City and to advance a regional, comprehensive response to the influx of asylum-seekers in New York that calls for the participation of private landlords, businesses, and other members of the sector.
