n July, Uber Technologies, the San Francisco-based American mobility service provider, was sued by over 500 women across the U.S. on claims of being assaulted by drivers on their platform. With operations in over 70 countries and over 10,000 cities, Uber is one of the top leaders in the ride-sharing business.
