We understand that selecting the perfect worktop to complement your vanity unit can be a crucial decision in your design process. Below we’ve outlined the steps to help you find the ideal worktop for your vanity.

Choose Your Vanity Size

Vanity worktops that fit our standard vanity units are categorised into three sizes: 600 Vanity, 800 Vanity, and 1200 Vanity, the size is displayed next to each worktop, make sure the width and depth are compatible with your chosen vanity. Each worktop is designed to fit a range of vanity sizes with a slight overhang.

Select a Worktop

Our vanity worktops are available in three options: SquareEdged Laminate, Cast Marble, and Calypstone Aura Solid Surface. Some vanity units use non-standard worktop sizes, and the worktops for these can be found on the pages displaying that collection, along with additional details.

Square-Edged Laminate Worktops

Calypstone Aura Worktops 12mm or 18mm

Available in options of 12mm and 18mm thickness, Calypstone Aura Solid Surface Worktop are made from a mixed compound of natural minerals and acrylic resins. This material is the same all the way through, is completely non-porous and the smooth surface is resistant to most domestic chemicals. It can be cut and shaped using standard woodworking tools, and the cut edge sanded and polished to a perfect finish by hand.

Easy Clean: The inherent properties of Calypstone Aura make it very easy to clean and maintain. It is resistant to most household chemicals and disinfectants and is best cleaned simply with warm soapy water and then dried and buffed with a soft microfibre cloth. Full care instructions are supplied with each worktop.

Durable: You can look forward to many years of service from Calypstone Aura worktops. The material does not degenerate naturally nor fade, and if well cared for, will continue to look as good as the day it was installed.

Hygienic: The Calypstone Aura material contains an antibacterial agent that combats bacteria and prevents its growth. This makes it perfectly suited to bathroom surfaces, and means it can also be used in healthcare and food preparation areas.

Our Cast Marble basins are crafted from Dolomite Marble, a substance born from volcanic processes. Through milling, purification, and blending with polymer resin, they take shape before a protective layer of resin and quartz gel coating is applied, preserving both pigment and achieving a flawlessly smooth, durable and easy to maintain finish.

Ceramic basins are meticulously crafted from molten fireclay, shaped into moulds, and expertly glazed before undergoing the final firing process. Their enduring quality makes them suitable for both contemporary and traditional bathroom settings. Ceramic is easy to maintain, as stains can be effortlessly removed, ensuring a pristine appearance. How to Order Guide: Overflow Rings

When it comes to basins, getting the details right can make all the difference, especially when you’re matching them with brassware and handles. That’s where understanding overflow rings becomes essential. These rings not only ensure your basin works properly but also play a role in enhancing its overall look and feel. Use the table below to find the right overflow for your basin and then choose the colour that best matches your bathroom:

Basins with no overflow:

These basins do not have an overflow. Therefore, there’s no need for an overflow ring. We recommend using a free-flowing unslotted waste with these basins.

Basins with built-in overflow:

Some basins come with an overflow that is glazed or designed as an integral part of the basin. In such cases, an overflow ring does not apply.

Basins with a standard overflow:

These basins come with a chrome overflow ring as standard. However, the overflow ring is interchangeable, meaning you can change it to match your bathroom.
