INTRODUCTION

At Woodside, we’re proud to be a leading fitness club in Kansas City. Indoor cycling classes in Kansas City are a fun, effective way to boost fitness and wellness.

Let’s walk through what to expect before, during, and after your first class.

Before Class – Key Prep Tips

Arrive 15–20 minutes early to set up your bike & meet your instructor.

Wear breathable, moisture-wicking clothes. Bring a towel & water bottle.

Consider a light snack with protein & carbs.

COMFORT & SAFETY

FIRST

Proper seat and handlebar adjustments are key to avoiding injuries. Ask your instructor for help with setup. Check shoe requirements—rentals may be available.

DURING CLASS – STAY ENGAGED

Listen to instructor guidance for resistance & pace. Go at your own speed—progress is personal. Adjust resistance when needed. Most importantly—have fun & enjoy the energy!

LISTEN TO YOUR BODY

Stop if you feel pain or discomfort. Correct posture to maintain form.

Focus on effort, not comparison with others.

AFTER CLASS –RECOVERY MATTERS

Take time to cool down gradually. Stay hydrated & refuel with nutrients. Stretch to aid muscle recovery.
