From the moment Elle Woods bursts onto the scene, Legally Blonde JR. reminds us that being true to yourself never goes out of style. What starts as a story about love and labels quickly transforms into something much bigger, a celebration of courage, confidence, and discovering your own voice.
Bringing this show to life with middle schoolers has been as inspiring as it has been fun. Our students have embraced every high kick, heartfelt moment, and hilarious twist with enthusiasm and dedication. From mastering challenging choreography to finding the emotional truth in each scene, they’ve proven that a pretend law degree really is powerful.
Behind the sparkle, there’s substance. These young performers have worked tirelessly to tell a story about breaking stereotypes, lifting each other up, and realizing that you are capable of more than you ever imagined. Whether they’re stepping onstage for the first time or returning for another production, each member has brought passion, bravery, and a whole lot of heart to this show.

Elle Woods seems like the perfect sorority girl, until she follows her ex to Harvard Law School to win him back. ALEX HOPKINS (Delta Nu; u/s Chutney) is so excited for her first WNS show, and to be a Delta Nu in Legally Blonde JR.! Other productions include Gym Grannies and High School Musical. Ever since Alex was born, she’s been in love with acting and singing. She’s loved getting to learn all the material and bonding with her castmates. Alex thanks Ms. Perez, Nate, Ms. Rousselot, and Ms. B for being great teachers. She dedicates this to her sister, Lily, who did multiple theater productions at WNS and has always been by her side, supporting her along her acting, and life, journey.
ANNA PASCARU (Stage Crew) is so thrilled to be participating in Legally Blonde! Anna has also participated in stage crew with WNS’s previous musical Spamalot and was a cast member in the fall play It’s A Jungle Out There. Anna is very grateful to be part of WNS’s last show in this building. She had an incredible time in stage crew last year and is beyond excited for the musical this year. She would like to thank her closest friends Sofia, Catherine, Van, and Esme for always being there for her and supporting no matter what. They are such incredible people, and she feels so lucky to have them in her life. She would also like to give a shoutout to Esme, who plays Kate.
AUBREY JEFFERY (Paulette Bonofante) is excited to perform in her third WNS production. Other WNS productions include It’s A Jungle Out There and Spamalot! Aubrey has enjoyed getting to know new members of the cast and learning choreography from Ms. Perez. Aubrey hopes that everyone will remember this significant moment, the last show in this building, for years to come. Aubrey thanks Nate, Ms. B, Ms. Perez, and Ms. Rousselot for putting so much hard work into the show. Shoutout to Ruth, Mauritius, and Cameron Jeffery for being so supportive of Aubrey’s acting journey.
AVERY FRICKE (Stage Crew) is so glad to have been chosen for the tech crew that will be helping out with the production of Legally Blonde. She can’t wait to work behind the scenes with the rest of the crew and gain new experience on set. Avery also had the honor of painting some of the set pieces and putting together costumes during the theatre tech elective. She would like to thank her amazing friend Elia for sharing her love of musicals and tendency to break out into song.
BEA FAXON (Harvard Student; Bailiff; u/s Pilar) is excited to be a part of her first musical at WNS! She loves getting to know each and every cast member and learning new dances and singing along. She wants to give a big thanks to Nate, Ms.Perez, Ms. Rousselot, and Ms.B for always helping her become a better actor, singer, and dancer and always encouraging her to step out of her comfort zone.

CADENCE CHIU (Harvard Student; u/s Sunny) is excited for her first WNS production. She’s had many acting experiences, mostly from figure skating, which she does outside of school. She’s loved growing and learning alongside all the amazing cast and crew. She wants to give a big thanks to Nate, Ms. B, Ms. Perez, and Ms. Rousselot for taking time and energy to help put this together. She would also like to thank her mom and dad for being so supportive.
CAITLIN DIXON (Pforzeheimer; Delta Nu; Judge) is elated to be in Legally Blonde JR. This is her third show at WNS and has been acting since kindergarten. She especially loved being a part of a cast that has put in so much effort, creativity, and teamwork throughout the process. Caitlin would like to thank Ms. B and Nate for their hard work and dedication they have put into this production, as well as Ms.Rousselot-Suarez and Ms. Perez for their amazing singing and choreography! CARTER FAILL (Lowell; Kyle) is excited to perform in his fifth main stage show at WNS! His previous role was Stage Crew in The Play That Goes Wrong among others. He’s loved getting to know his classmates better and growing as a performer. Carter would like to thank his parents and teachers for always being so supportive. CHARLES AFFOLTER (Sunny Skies) is very excited to be in this year's spring production, Legally Blonde! This is his fourth and, sadly, final show at WNS. Charlie has done many shows outside of school such as The Greatest Showman, Aladdin, Harry Potter, Terminal 26, Spamalot, and Newsies! Getting to be in Legally Blonde this year has been an extraordinary time for Charlie as he has made new friends and gotten to enjoy every moment in his last show with his favorite people. He couldn’t have done what he has without his family, friends, and teachers. He is grateful for their support.
CLARA STREET (Stage Manager) is excited to be a part of her fifth WNS production. Although she is usually on stage, this year she is looking forward to doing most of her work behind the scenes. She has never been stage manager before and is so grateful for the opportunity. She wants to thank her costage manager Lucy, who has put in so much work to this production. ENIYE DATOUWEI (Harvard Student) OMGGGG! �� She is literally, actually, technically OBSESSED with being in Legally Blonde! Like, is this real life?! ✨ Being part of the Harvard Law ensemble AND getting to be the understudy for Store Manager?! That is, without a doubt, the coolest, most amazing thing to EVER happen to her! It is SO unbelievably fun to watch everything go from just talking about it in rehearsal to a real, high-energy, totally epic show.

LAVR KONOV (Emmett Forrest) is excited to be in the one, the ONLY Legally Blonde! This is his fourth and final production at WNS, but will be continuing theatre in high school. Previous roles include Stage Crew Jack in The Play that Goes Wrong, Fred in Spamalot, and Studio Boss in Terminal 26. The process of putting on a production has been very fun for Lavr, and he loved every second of it Theatre is what shaped him as a person, and he would not be the same without it He would also not be the same without Nate and Ms. B because they are the BEST THEATRE TEACHERS EVER!
LILY CLERMONT (Delta Nu; Harvard Student; u/s Pfhorzheimer) is thrilled to be in this year's production of Legally Blonde as a member of the Delta Nu/Harvard College crew. She loves dancing and spends much of her time outside of school doing just that. Lily has performed in the Hot Chocolate Nutcracker for two consecutive years and most recently appeared in Seussical this summer She is so grateful to be part of this cast during her first year at WNS and thanks her family, friends, and directors for their support. LONDON STARNES (Delta Nu; u/s Serena) is excited to be in her first musical for WNS and last show in this building (I’m gonna miss it!). She has been in three other productions including Knife in Beauty and the Beast, Pigtails and Darcie in Newsies, and the leading role in Cinderella. She has also been in several improv shows! The process of pulling this whole play together will be worth it when all of our hard work pays off She thanks her mom, dad, and sisters for always supporting her, Nate, and Ms. B, Theory (my doggo), and my best friends. LUCA OTTLEY (Jet Blue Pilot; Harvard Student; u/s Callahan) is thrilled to be onstage for the first time ever! He’s discovered a previously unknown talent, and he loves it. He has made friends over the months in Legally Blonde, and had so much fun with everyone. He will audition for every play that is available for him, and those links of chains will NEVER break. Mr. Nate and Ms. B made a great impact on him (in a good way!), and they are such good teachers. He loves every single person in this show and anyways he is basically legally blonde.
LUCY WYMAN (Stage Manager & Music Op) is so so so excited for this amazing opportunity to be co-stage manager for Legally Blonde! This is Lucy’s third WNS show (It’s A Jungle Out There and Terminal 26), and she can’t wait for you to see it, too! MILA MIRCHANDANI (Delta Nu; Harvard Student) is excited for her second WNS production. She was the stage manager for It’s A Jungle Out There! Her favorite part of Legally Blonde is learning new dances and performing with her friends. Huge thanks to Mr. Nate, without whom this show would not have been possible, Ms. Perez for making impeccable choreography, Ms. Rousselot for teaching the proper ways to sing the songs, and Ms. Bashall for being so supportive. NAOMI HUGHES (Pilar) is so happy to be in her first WNS production and is so honored to be a Delta Nu! YARA JOHNSON (Elle Woods; Margot) is the MOST excited to perform in WNS’s very own Legally Blonde! This will be her fifth production at Westside Neighborhood School and she cannot be more excited. She started acting at age 5 at YADA where she performed as Jasmine in Aladdin, Danielle in Bring It On, and many others. She also has previously performed in WNS productions of Spamalot as Sir Robin, Ada/Hannah in Newsies, Annie in The One Act Play That Goes Wrong, three roles in Terminal 26, and playing Elle Woods and Margot.
