This project started as a result of a conversation with several of the people who are a part of the publication. Each person who migrates to the United States has a story to tell and ideas to express. The publication continues a dialog between the Latino community and the university that will help form better connections, thus serving the well-being of the Spanish-speaking immigrants of Rockbridge County including the deepening recognition of the achievements and challenges of this community on behalf of the university.
