WKU enters first phase of dorm overhaul

WKU unveiled the phase one renderings of Elevate WKU on Feb. 20, 2026.

WKU has officially started the climb to Elevate WKU by entering the first phase of the university’s new approach to student housing. WKU President Timothy Caboni sent an email to faculty and staff Wednesday morning announcing a groundbreaking ceremony to begin construction of WKU’s newest dorm that will take place on Oct. 20 at 10 a.m. Read more by Anthony Clauson

WKU Volleyball falls against No. 3 Louisville

WKU Volleyball fell to No. 3 Louisville Cardinals Wednesday night via a sweep. Despite the loss, the Hilltoppers fans showed up, topping over 2,000 fans and 600 students. “What a great showcase of the sport here in Diddle Arena,” head coach Travis Hudson said. “So grateful to the Hilltoppers fans for coming and making a great atmosphere for our players.” Read more by Peyton Reid


Hilltoppers get VIP passes to Globechella

Hilltoppers received VIP passes on Wednesday for Globechella, held inside the Mahurin Honors College and International Center. MHC Director Lindy Davidson, who also oversees WKU’s study abroad programs, helped welcome students to the VIP entrance of Globechella. Students who attended the event received a free tote bag and wristband to enter the fair. Read more by Abigail Vickers

First responders unite for Bowling Green community at Chick-fil-A

WKU Soccer will host the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks on Sept. 17, following a 2-0-1 road trip that saw the Hilltoppers’ five-game winning streak snapped in a 1-1 draw with Lipscomb on Sept. 13. Read more by Jonah Moore

WKU Volleyball continues its home streak with the WKU Invitational, searching for a set of victories after falling to Louisville this Wednesday. The Hilltoppers take on Oklahoma University and East Tennessee State University. Read more by Morgan Larkins
