WKU Volleyball welcomes No. 3 ranked Louisville to Diddle Arena

WKU Volleyball welcomes the No. 3 ranked University of Louisville to Diddle Arena Wednesday night. The Hilltoppers come off the heels of the Alyssa Cavanaugh Classic, where the team went 2-1. Junior libero Tayler Baron was named Conference USA defensive player of the week after her stellar performance in the Classic. Baron played in every set and totaled 62 digs over the entire weekend, with a season high 22 digs in the game against Pepperdine. The Hilltoppers have been represented in every weekly award with sophomore setter Kate Rush taking home setter of the week twice beforehand. Read more by Morgan Larkins
SGA prepares for upcoming campaigning with election codes meeting

SGA outlined its election codes for senator-hopefuls to ensure a fair and professional election this fall. SGA Student Body President, Caden Lucas said there were “lots of new faces” at the meeting on Tuesday. Candidates for the upcoming fall

Board of Commissioners approve money for Riverfront Park, new police precinct

The Bowling Green Board of Commissioners approved several municipal orders Tuesday afternoon at the board’s meeting – one of which authorized an amendment to the city’s contract with MKSK for engineering and design forces for the Riverfront Park project. “The plan for tonight is to add Phase 3, add Phase 4 and add on some additional funding for Phase 2,” Brent Childers, Bowling Green’s director of Neighborhood and Community Services, said.
