Aviation Heritage Park to hold day of remembrance for 9/11
Bowling Green will remember the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks with a ceremony at Aviation Heritage Park & Museum Friday at 1 p.m. “The community is invited to join us as we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, honor those who answered the call to serve, and reflect on a day that forever changed America,” according to the Aviation Heritage Park website. ‘Places’ collection debuts in first gallery of semester

The School of Media and Communication debuted its first gallery exhibition of the semester on Thursday night in Jody Richards Hall with a lecture and reception featuring the collection’s photographer. The latest exhibition “Places” is a collection of photos by Kentuckybased photographer David Coyle that brought together landscapes from
different places across the nation. Some of these photographed locations include Red River Gorge, Kentucky’s Bluegrass region and the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. Read more by Abigail Vickers
WKU sponsors veterans show
WKU will sponsor an “uplifting” veterans show on Friday at 7 p.m. at the National Corvette Museum. The show, hosted by the WKU Military Student Services, will feature military veteran and performer Thom Tran, a comedian and musician who found success after a career-ending injury in combat.
