WKU Sisterhood receives update from university

HRL updates PFT residents on A/C status

Housing & Residence Life emailed Pearce Ford Tower residents on Thursday to update the status of the air conditioning inside the building. “The air conditioning issue has been identified, and an exterior chiller is en route to campus and will be installed as quickly as possible,” HRL stated. “Contractors are building out the timeline for the implementation of the temporary chiller.”

WKU Soccer takes down Jackson State 1-0

Sophomore defender Abby Wiedermann’s third-minute goal secured a 1-0 win for WKU Soccer over the Jackson State Tigers on Thursday at the WKU Soccer Complex. The Hilltoppers won six corners in the first half from tight pressure on the Tigers’ back line and won 13 fouls throughout the 90 minutes.

With only three starters returning from last season, WKU Football opens the 2025-26 campaign Saturday, hosting a conference matchup versus Sam Houston in Week 0. The Hilltoppers ended last season with an 8-6 record.. My prediction is WKU returns to eight wins before championship weekend with a record at 8-4. Read more by Michael Givner Jr.
