Hall renovations hit
one year, “more than simply updating an academic building”
Aconstruction worker is lowered to the ground after working on renovating the front exterior of Henry Hardin Cherry Hall on July 7, 2026.
The summerof 2026 marks one yearinto the renovation of Henry Hardin Cherry Hall, one of WKU’s historic landmarks.
The 105,000-square-foot renovation project began in the summer of 2025 and is still set to be completed in May 2027 within the $75 million budget.According toWKU Chief Facilities Officer Bryan Russell, Cherry Hall renovations are progressing “very well”.

Andrew Rash stepped into the role of interim directorforWKU’s Department of StudentActivities as of July 1.
Rash previously served asAssociate Directorof StudentActivities and Greek Life sinceAugust of 2022, as well as faculty advisor forthe Student GovernmentAssociation.An alum ofWKU, he has been a part of StudentActivities since 2014.
Rash has been working in StudentActivities forthe past sixteen years, his entire career, at two different institutions.

Bike4AlzTeam 14 rides into BG
All 12 members of the Bike4Alz team pose for a picture with a bicycle upon arrival to Bowling Green on July 5.
Surrounded by family and friends, the 14th Bike4Alz team rode intoWKU’s Creason Parking Lot on July 5 at 2 p.m. Over the past two months, 12 brothers from the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity have been on a crosscontinental bike ride to raise money for and spread awareness about Alzheimer’s Disease.They began theirjourney in San Fransisco on May 13 and will conclude upon arrival in Virginia Beach.
Forincoming finance junior and Bowling Green native Miles Harvey, riding into his hometown afteralmost two months away was an amazing feeling.
