Board of Regents approves acquisition of 10 properties
The WKU Board of Regents approved a motion Thursday for the University to purchase 10 properties along State Street and Chestnut Street.
The WKU Real Estate Corporation will purchase the properties for the construction of the newAcademic Complex along State and Chestnut streets. The university is still in legal negotiations to gain ownership of six of the properties through eminent domain.

WKU Softball goes 1-1 in the Conference USAtournament second round, extending their season.
The Hilltoppers fell to No.3 seed Liberty Flames 3-0, being sent to the loser bracket to take on No.4 Delaware in a double header. WKU kept their postseason hopes alive, defeating the Blue Hens 4-3 on a walk-off.
WKU Baseball set for highstakes series against DBU

WKU Baseball will host Dallas Baptist for its last home Conference USA series this weekend at Nick Denes Field.
The Hilltoppers hold a 26-23 overall record and 11-13 in CUSA. Their record puts them level with Kennesaw State for sixth place.
