The echoes of car horns could be heard on the corner of Campbell Lane and Gary Farms Boulevard. on Friday morning as patrons drove past a crowd of “MayDay” protesters holding signs.

“Honk if Gas PricesAre Too High,” “Eat the Rich,” “One Nation Under Distress” and “MayDay – Democracy in Danger,” were a few of many phrases written in bold on the protest signs.

WKU Baseball claimed a pivotal Conference USAseries over Middle Tennessee State, winning two of three games at Reese Smith Jr Field.

The Hilltoppers move up to a 26-22 overall record and an 11-13 CUSA record, putting them sixth and level with Kennesaw State.
