Day proclaimed for Alzheimer’s non-profit

The Commonwealth of Kentucky and the City of Bowling Green declaredApril 28, 2026 as “Bike4AlzAwareness Day.”

Members of the WKU community and government officials gathered in Centennial Mall on Tuesday to celebrate the Bike4Alz non-profit and proclamation. Patti Minter, on behalf of GovernorAndy Beshear, and MayorToddAlcott presented the respective proclamations.

Members of the Student GovernmentAssociation gathered for its first official meeting of the 26th Senate on Tuesday

Former SGAStudent Body President Rush Robinson began the meeting with opening remarks and acknowledging the abundance of new faces in the chamber

“It’s cool to see a fresh new senate, y’all look young and lively and untainted by SGAand all of its woes,” Robinson said with a laugh.

The game between WKU Baseball andAustin Peay at Raymond C. Hand Park has been canceled.
