Faculty Senate hosts assistant provost to discuss advisory review

The WKU Faculty Senate hosted the new Assistant Provost for Student Success & Online Learning, Thursday for the first time since her promotion last semester. Holli Drummond, who served for six years as the chair of the Department of Sociology and Criminology, had a chance to discuss her new position and its responsibilities, and to open a dialogue with faculty about academic advising. WKU Softball ends March with road matchup versus New Mexico State

WKU Softball looks to extend its three-game winning streak during its Conference USA series at New Mexico State this weekend, March 27-29. The Hilltoppers are 22-7 overall and 6-3 in conference play after sweeping rival Middle Tennessee State last weekend. The Hilltoppers outscored the Blue Raiders 17-9 across the three games. Junior right-hander Rylan Smith threw WKU’s second no-hitter of the season to lead the Hilltoppers to their 5-0 game-two win. Read more by Adrianna Lein
F1rstGen and WKU Libraries to hold cursive writing workshop
As part of F1rst Gen’s monthly workshops, they will partner with WKU Libraries on Friday to teach students how to read cursive. Open to all students regardless of their experience with cursive, the workshop will provide an introduction to cursive writing.
