Campus Community Band, WKU Wind Ensemble blow away the audience

The WKU Campus Community Band performed a concert at Van Meter Hall, Monday night with the WKU Wind Ensemble.

The Campus Community Band is a group of over 60 musicians that includes active students, alumni, and members of the local community. The band performed with the WKU Wind Ensemble, which had special guest Graduate Conductor Noah Woody.

WKU Softball wins 14thstraight with win over EKU

WKU Softball needed just five innings to take down Eastern Kentucky 8-0 Tuesday night at the WKU

The Hilltoppers’offense was in full swing, going 12-23 at the plate and 9-17 with runners on base. Sophomore infielder Katie Murphy led WKU, hitting 2-2 and collecting two RBI and a walk.

In the world of collegiate basketball, the transfer portal is often viewed as a roll of the dice.

For Grant Newell, the 6-foot-9 senior forward who arrived at WKU by way of North Texas and Cal, that gamble is paying off in dividends for a Hilltopper squad that has suddenly found its rhythm at the most critical juncture of the season.

High schoolers from across the region flocked to WKU Friday to test their math skills in competition and the chance to take home a $500 scholarship.

WKU Baseball-Eastern Kentucky midweek game postponed
