WKU students filled Russell Miller Theater Monday night for the inaugural Black Excellence Cabaret, celebrating culture and strengthening community.
The WKUAlpha Psi Omega Mu Lambda Cast celebrated Black History Month with its “Black Excellence Cab” cabaret, an evening of performances highlighting Black culture, ancestry, history and joy The student-run showcase was held on Monday at 9 p.m in the Russell Miller Theatre in the Ivan Wilson FineArts Center With low-cost tickets and an open call for performers, organizers said the event is designed to create an accessible, affirming space for black creativity on WKU’s campus.

In a town where local art isn’t heavily advertised, Donna’s has always centered themselves in the art scene of Bowling Green as much as they can, OwnerAaronAnderson said.
After a recent expansion this past July, the bar continues to lift up local artists in the Bowling Green area.


WKU Baseball will play its first midweek game against No. 22 ranked University of Kentucky Wednesday, Feb. 25 at Kentucky Proud Park in Lexington.
The Hilltoppers currently sit at 5-3 after their series win against Southeast Missouri State. WKU took three of the four games and outscored SEMO 4732.
