SOKYIndivisible holds protest regarding release of Epstein files

(Sam Huffman) Protesters stood on the corners of Nashville Road and Campbell Lane, Saturday, to protest the U.S. Justice Department’s delayed release of documents relating to investigations into convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The original date for the Justice Department to release the Epstein files was Dec. 19. While some of the files were released on Dec. 19, the Justice Department delayed further releases until Jan. 20 or 21, according to PBS News.

Hilltoppers seek win versus conference-leading Liberty

WKU Men’s Basketball finishes up their three-game home stand against the Liberty Flames on Wednesday night.

The Hilltoppers look to rebound after an uncompetitive loss to the Kennesaw State Owls Saturday afternoon, 81-65. With the Hilltoppers’loss, they fell to 11-7 (4-3 CUSA).

WKU is led by the guard duo of redshirt sophomore Teagan Moore and freshmanArmelo Boone. Moore is the leading scorer of the Hilltoppers, averaging 17.1 points per game, and Boone pours in 11.8 points per game.
