Bowling Green, home of Western Kentucky University, is situated among natural areas rich with opportunities for outdoor recreation and is only a 40-minute drive to Mammoth Cave National Park. Coming to WKU, some students seek the chance to explore these recreational opportunities, even if they don’t have any experience.
