The month of February is commonly thought to be centred on and dedicated to love. It can, however, be a month devoted to self-love, self-care, strengthening relationships with family and friends, and showing others the love they deserve. With their love and dedication to their jobs and loved ones, healthcare workers (HCWs) bore a heavy burden during the COVID-19 crisis and directly experienced its consequences in the fight to contain the virus.
