Greetings to our awardees, families, friends, donors, lecturers, colleagues from the Faculty, and the broader Wits community! It is a privilege to celebrate the academic achievements of our brilliant students at the 2026 Faculty of Humanities Prize-Giving Ceremony.
This annual event recognises not only the outstanding accomplishments of our students but also encourages them to strive for even greater excellence. In the Faculty of Humanities, we believe that celebrating academic merit is essential for the growth of our disciplines, which are dedicated to understanding and addressing societal challenges, particularly those affecting the underprivileged, vulnerable, and marginalised.
