Academy The Future’s Bright!
Chinnor U18s Colts B v Witney U18s Colts

With no game to report on we concentrate on what’s happening on Sunday as our Academy hit the road and head to Thame for a clash with Chinnor Colts B. This is an excellent chance for our boys to consolidate their position in the league, hopefully putting some clear air between us and Hungerford.

First up this weekend, England v Ireland, is it too early to give up on England predictions? Ireland still haven’t found their rhythm, but with England stumbling as they did in Murrayfield this one is too hard to call. I’m going, as much with heart as with hope, for an England win, but don’t ask me to put money on it.
Wales v Ireland at The Principality Stadium and I fail to see how Wales can turn it around, but they have done it against Scotland in the past, and this has to be a must win game for them. Personally, I think they have already convinced themselves that 2026 is not their year and I have to go with a bonus point win for Scotland, with Wales lucky to make double figures.
Sunday and France v Italy will be a better game than most would anticipate but I can’t see France doing anything other than maintaining a 100% record as they head for their first Grand Slam since 2022.
